And so, the long pause of adoration for the 200th post has been broken!
Post #201: Is anyone having difficulty with the coloration of the flags from Automated Background Results? We seem to be having issues with our Green and Yellow flagged volunteers. Initially, volunteers that we flagged GREEN (verde) were showing up Yellow (amarillo), and I've just been informed that volunteers that have been flagged AMARILLO are showing up VERDE. There seems to be no problem with our RED (rojo) volunteers, other then the obvious fact that they've been disallowed. I haven't been able to reproduce the error, but have seen that the flag color isn't showing properly. I have asked to be called IMMEDIATELY (immediatamente) when it occurs so they can show me what they did, and what the error is looking like first hand. THANKS (gracias) for your help, and I hope everyone's enjoyed today's SPANISH (espanol) lessons! Jesus |

Jesus,
Have you checked the System Setup to make sure there are no other certification alerts that are displayed? ps - I'll have to get Marly involved to speak any serious espanol with you. I might have a half-Latina at home but I only speak gringo. |

Mike/Michael/Mikey-
That's the second place I looked. I even restored the defaults from several computers to make sure it wasn't a local computer setting that was changed, in turn changing the flagging. I'm waiting for someone to recreate the problem, as I'm highly suspect to the error being caused by the user (we've had a change in people processing the screenings recently). ps - Since you only speak Gringo, I'm assuming I can order a taco, burrito, and cerveza from you? I'll take them in that order please. Bring Marly whatever she would like as well (while we converse in espanol). |

So this is potentially a case then of the (color) blind leading the blind?
If/when you are able to verify this get a GMS backup make pronto and send it along to us so we can have a look. If you want to send the backup now and try to have someone describe the situation in more detail I can fool around with it here as well. I don't know about ordering from me but you can order for me And don't worry, Marly will be around to make sure you don't go talking $hit about me that I can't understand. |

So here's what was going on (and a temp figured this out, not me
They would be in the manual processing screen, flag a volunteer, AND THEN CLICK ON THE CHECKBOX, and proceed to process the next record. They would continue this on until they process all the volunteers in the query. Now, since they had all the boxes checked, clearly grouping all the volunteers, whatever the last volunteer was flagged as would obviously propogate to the rest of the batch. We were right, it was a user error...I'll have to make sure our Volunteer Manager puts this in her documenation for Volunteer Screening Procedures, as she documents everything (in her own words, of course). Did you still want me to send you a backup to verify? Ahora, donde esta mi cerveza? Salud! |
